Houston Dynamo will be looking to repeat their performance in Game 1 of their Round One playoff series against Real Salt Lake, when they took the lead by defeating the visitors 2-1.
It’s one of the closest and most unpredictable ties in this year’s playoffs, as both teams ended the MLS regular season with almost the same numbers. Real Salt Lake finished fifth in the Western Conference standings, while Houston took fourth spot, with only one more point after 34 games.
Houston’s Héctor Herrera scored the first goal of the match a week ago, but Pablo Mastroeni’s men found the back of the net after halftime. With 10 minutes to go, Amine Bassi gave the hosts victory.
